Dear Sister Kennedy,
How have your first
few days in the MTC been? How's your companion? How's your
district? Do you like the food? How are classes?
The last few days
have been pretty normal. We taught the First Vision to our Primary kids today.
It was slightly difficult because they were not in the mood to pay attention,
but we muddled through. And we only had two of them today. We've
never had that small of a class, so that was different.
I just beat Final
Fantasy VIII a few minutes ago. Justin wanted me to play a video game
while he worked on his painting, so I chose that one because I had never beaten
it. I got close, but never actually beat it. Until now. Woo
hoo! Now he wants me to play either Final Fantasy X or VII. Can't decide
which one.
Mom and Dad came down
on Saturday to pick up the new entertainment center, and we all had lunch
together. Dad was asking Justin if he could design a logo for the
company, so Justin's going to put together some mock-ups for Mom, Dad, Grandma,
Grandpa, and Uncle Matt to look at. He already has some interesting
ideas. We also went to the library, and I got a new book by Tamora
Pierce. However, I think it's book two in this series, so I'll probably
go back to the library on Monday and switch them.
I think that's about
all that's happened since we saw you on Tuesday. Remember who you are and
don't let it get you down. Love you, little sister.

Dear Sister Kennedy,
How's things at the
the MTC? Learning all sorts of fun stuff? Gone crazy yet? ;)
This week was a bit
weird. As Justin told you last time, I caught the flu. Spent Sunday
evening/night throwing up (and I do mean all night), spent Monday feeling
better, but still crappy, and then felt human again by Tuesday evening.
Which means I only went to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Totally
threw off my internal clock, let me tell you.
I'm going to start
learning how to collect medical records at work. Not as easy as it
sounds. There's a whole slew of regulations we have to follow, and then I
have to learn how to read them and figure out what's important and what's
not. Fascinating reading...not.
Justin made an apple
pie from some of his mom's homemade pie filling that she sent home with
us. Pretty dang good, too. I started playing Final Fantasy X.
This one is slower to pick up than Final Fantasy VIII, which makes it
hard. I've been playing for two hours now, and it still hasn't gotten
into the story yet. Justin says I'll get to it soon, though, so I'll keep
plugging along.
We went to Bryan and
Danielle's house for dinner tonight and spent most of the evening talking with
Kristen, Celeste, and Dennis about BYU and crazy dating stories. That was
a lot of fun. Our Home Teachers came over and we played a round of Super
Smash Brothers with them. Haven't ever done that before.
I can't think of
anything else worth mentioning, so I guess I'll sign off here. Love you,
baby sister. Hugs!
That is cool about Justin designing the logo for the company!
ReplyDeleteDidn't know Justin could cook, that is handy!!!
Thanks again for sharing.
Love you both
