How are you guys handling your new situation? Are you still in a three-some?
We just got back from Strawberry Shortcake night with Kristen and family. Apparently, it's a tradition from Aunt Vickie's side of the family. We had strawberry shortcake and had fun hanging out with everybody. Got to spend some time talking with Kristen, Brian, Dani, and Emalee. Fun stuff. The sprinklers came on part way through and the kids thought that was just the greatest thing (we were outside in a pavilion). When they first came on, Oliver was out on the grass and he was so scared that he just stood there and panicked/cried for a bit and then started running, though he picked the long way to get off the grass and away from the sprinklers. He found a broken umbrella near the dumpster and used it as a shield so he could still play, though.
The ballet class on Thursday was good. There is definitely a wide range of skill levels there. One lady had never danced before in her life. There were a couple teenagers who had danced a bit as kids. And then there were four of us who have had significantly more training, but who have been away from dance for one reason or another (having a baby was the most common reason). So we spent the whole class at the barre and only got as far as rond de jambs because the teacher had to spend so much time explaining what each move was, how to do it, and then teaching the sequence. And when we finally did the sequence, it was soooo sloooow. At least we had time to really focus on our technique. This week should be better, though.
Friday was Bobbi's last day at the office, and Monday will be Keyla's last day. Sadness! We're gonna miss them. We had a nice going-away party for them on Friday (we ordered Bajio's for lunch and had a *really* good chocolate cake from a restaurant near by). It's going to be weird not having them at work anymore. Jenny's not anywhere near as nice as Bobbi, and Keyla is just hilarious. We'll see how things go without them.
Justin and I went shopping on Saturday. Victoria's Secret was having their semi-annual sale, so I stopped in to see what they had. I grabbed a few bras and went back to try them on and the girl doing fittings asked to measure me, so I let her. Apparently, I've been wearing the wrong size bra for ages. I thought I was a 32A or 34A. Turns out I'm actually a 32D or 34C, and the girl doing fittings wanted to put me in a 32DD. My little mind was blown. Either they've changed the way they make bras or I've gained enough weight that my boobs have grown. I can't decide which it is. So I got one bra at Victoria's Secret, and then went to Macy's and got four more because those were way cheaper.
Anyway, those are the highlights of our week. Hugs and lots of love.
Symone
