Dear
Sister Kennedy,
This
will probably be kind of short. I'm feeling a little off today.
I had
to wrangle our Primary class by myself today. The men had a special
lesson today during third hour about home teaching, so the ladies all had to
handle our Primary classes by ourselves. They sent a sister from Relief
Society to be the second adult present so we weren't breaking any rules, but I
had to teach the class by myself. And I had all five kids to deal with
today. Plus, the sister who came to "help" me was the mom of
one of the girls in our class. Which means the girl was not behaving as usual,
and since she's the ringleader, none of the other kids were particularly
well-behaved either. Primary was hard today.
Our
dance class on Monday was all about swing. Since we've finished all the
other dances, we spent the entire class working on triple-step swing. I
think we were all exhausted by the end of class. Justin's been picking up
swing really well. I thought for sure that he'd hate it, but he's been
doing really well with it. Our final is tomorrow, and then we're all done
for the semester. Wish us luck!
One of
Justin's home teaching families had their first baby this week, so we took them
dinner yesterday. Crazy thing about that, is that Justin had no idea he
was home teaching them. He got a call earlier this week from the
compassionate service leader telling him that he was this couple's home
teacher, so we needed to take them dinner. Same thing happened to the guy
who's supposed to be Justin's companion. They met for the first time
today after church. Some communication from the Elder's quorum would have
been great, guys. Oh well. At least they know, now.
Anyway,
my head's feeling a little muzzy, so I'll end here. Love you, little
sis. Hugs!
Symone
Sorry to hear the "help" wasn't helpful. Glad to hear you are doing well & enjoying your dance class. Will you take another dance class next semister?
ReplyDeleteReally like the new background - very pretty. Thank you for sharing your letters & w/your help on & with the blog site.
