Murdock Update

Dear Sister Kennedy,

Soo, I totally forgot to write you last Sunday.  By the time I remembered, it was like 11:30 and we were going to bed, so I thought I'd write you on my lunch break on Monday, but your letter came before that, so that's why there was no letter from me last week.  Oops.

The biggest thing from last week was my birthday.  Justin came home on Friday with a bouquet of flowers, a bottle of Martinelli's, and a bag of chocolates for me.  Then on Saturday, he took me to see the new live-action Cinderella movie (which was amazing, by the way) and then we went to dinner at this really fancy restaurant (I've attached a screenshot from their website).  He spoils me so bad!

Then this week, Mom and Richard came down to visit.  Mom, Justin, and I went to see Ballet West perform Aladdin (way awesome) and Richard hung out with some mission buddies.  Mom and Richie camped out in our living room that night, then Richie went to a mission reunion in Salt Lake to watch Conference, and Mom, Justin, and I stayed home and watched it in our pajamas.  Between sessions, we went to a rare Bible exhibit nearby.  They had a Tyndale Bible, pages from a Gutenberg Bible, a whole bunch of other rare Bibles, Joseph and Hyrum Smith's personal copies of the Book of Mormon, etc.  Seriously cool stuff there.  All three of us loved it.  And then today, we went to Matt and Bridget's for Easter dinner.  Those kids are so cute!

One of my old FHE brothers from BYU-I posted on Facebook that his sister was graduating from BYU and moving back east, so she was selling a bunch of her stuff, including a 42" Samsung HD plasma TV.  She was selling it for $275, and when we looked it up on Amazon, the used ones started at $375.  So we bought it.  We have a really nice TV now.  :)

Justin's been bugging me to play Final Fantasy VII for a while, so I finally started it last night.  The controls are completely different from Final Fantasy VIII.  I'm having a really hard time adjusting.  But Final Fantasy VII has one of the most involved story lines of any video game ever made, so I think I'll tough it out.

Well, that about covers it, so I think I'll sign off.  Hugs and much love.

Symone

  1. Thank you for sharing! So glad you had a lovely 1st Anniversary!
Nice to hear you & family had a nice Conference/Easter Weekend. GMom & I really enjoyed all the sessions on Sat & Sun. & the Women's Conf the weekend before. Really like that we can re-view the talks so soon afterwards (computer did some hick-upping on Elder Hollands) & we just watched it, beautiful & moving. The whole weekend was lovely.

Love to you & Justin & thank you again for sharing.
